Join the Amazing Kids Foundation Board of Directors

Amazing Kids Foundation is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. We are looking for leaders who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families facing the loss of a parent.

We proudly serve the Sea to Sky Corridor, including Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton, where community connection and support are at the heart of what we do. Founded as an incorporated BC Society in August 2023, we reached an important milestone in August 2025 when we gained our official charity status with the Canadian Government.

Available positions include Secretary, Treasurer, Technical/Website Director, Volunteer Director, and a Seasoned Non-Profit Director. These volunteer roles offer flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute your skills, guidance, and experience to help shape the future of our foundation and strengthen our community.​

Open Director Roles

Secretary

This key role helps ensure smooth board operations by scheduling meetings, keeping accurate records, and supporting good governance practices. The Secretary observes, documents, and helps the board stay on track with its commitments, making a vital contribution to our foundation’s mission. This is volunteer position.

Treasurer

This key role oversees the foundation’s financial health, including budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning. The Finance Director ensures transparency, supports sound decision-making, and helps guide the foundation’s growth while safeguarding resources to support our mission. This is volunteer position.

Technical / Website Director

This key role focuses on maintaining and updating our website with relevant content and helping develop an online resource for families navigating the loss of a parent. The Technical Director ensures our digital presence is effective, user-friendly, and supports the foundation’s mission. This is volunteer position.

Volunteer Director

This key role focuses on recruiting, coordinating, and supporting volunteers to ensure the foundation has the people power it needs to achieve its mission. The Volunteer Director helps build a strong, engaged community and develops strategies to maximize volunteer impact. This is volunteer position.

Non-Profit Director

his key role brings experience in governance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership to guide the foundation’s growth. The director will provide insight, mentorship, and oversight to ensure the board operates effectively while advancing the mission to support children and families facing the loss of a parent. This is volunteer position.
